Christian Reconstruction: driving the Bible further

What the CRM [Christian Reconstruction Movement] shared with fundamentalism was its approach to the Bible. I was reared a fundamentalist, and what appealed to me about the CRM was its vigorous attention to the whole of the Bible: on this, the CRM “out-fundamentaled” the fundamentalists!

What a great way to describe it! (But I wonder what fundamentalists think about being beaten at their own game.) I’m often impressed with fundamentalist women, but I wonder if they can up the ante to the next level of reconstruction.
